The game should have a day/night cycle. In its first iteration this wouldn’t even need to affect anything other than the sound track. We have an alternative sound track courtesy of @jakob_t_r, made specifically for nighttime ambience:

Over time we can add more and more gameplay impacts:
- line of sight changes
- temperature changes
- other ideas? anything to do with nerfing/buffing creature traits and behaviours is good stuff.
